Potential Scientific Applications
RFAAT™ is an excellent tool for scientific and research study such as determining the electrical property and physical characteristics of biological tissues or blood coagulation detection since the system can measure and manipulate the RF energy to a very precise degree of operation. A simple and intuitive graphical programming environment allows the user to program and control each module independently for regulating and manipulating the RF energy using a temperature controlled feedback algorithm, such as PID, fuzzy logic or any mathematical algorithm developed by the user. A powerful data analysis and post processing engine is also part of this technology that provides unlimited possibilities for the researcher and scientist. Please contact us for more information.
Possible Single Module Application
A single RFAAT module can control and manage up to 50 watts of RF energy for treatment of smaller tumor such as kidney, breast, bone lung and prostate cancer. For ablation of larger tumor, modules can be paralleled programmatically to increase the output power appropriate for effective destruction of the tumor.
Possible Multiple Module Application
For treatment of cardiac arrhythmia using an ablation catheter and the RFAAT system, catheters with up to 32 electrodes and temperature sensors can be programmed to deliver and manipulate RF energy precisely to create the desire lesion. Lesion length and depth can also be programmed in various modes of operations such as, Safe Mode, Auto Mode and Manual Mode (contact us for more information).
