The RFAAT™ modular design and flexible programming allows easy integration and interfacing into any of existing RFA catheters in the market. A powerful embedded field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is the engine behind this innovative technology allowing for any possible ablation scenarios. A single RFAAT™ module can control and manipulate up to 50 watts of RF energy for treatment of smaller tumors such as kidney, breast, lung and prostate cancer. For ablation of larger tumor, modules can be paralleled programmatically to increase the output power for effective destruction of the tumor. Up to 32 electrodes and temperature sensors can be programmed to deliver and manipulate RF energy precisely to create any desire lesion including, circumferential linear lesion on human heart or a large volumetric ablation of cancerous tumors.
